With recent weather extremes highlighting the urgent need for action, at Fraga Farm, we're stepping up to embrace sustainability and invite you to join us in making a difference.

Workshop: Green Your Clean

We're thrilled to introduce our "Green Your Clean" workshop at Fraga Farm. This workshop is the first in a series of community teach-ins aimed at sharing knowledge on sustainable living practices.

We'll show you how to make a cleaning spray and laundry soap using soap scraps and other natural ingredients.

Plus, spend time with the goats!

Planting Hope for the Future

The Power of Trees

The loss of trees in recent storms has been a hard hit for many, including us. However, we see this as a call to action. We're committing to annual tree planting events, understanding that each tree we plant is a step towards a more sustainable future and an act of faith in the future.

From creating shade to introducing climate-resilient species like fig trees, we're looking at greening in innovative ways.

The unpredictable weather patterns have been challenging, especially for those of us in farming and market vending. Yet, we've noticed a shift in the community's awareness and actions towards mitigating climate impact. The movement towards sustainability is growing, proving that we're not alone in this fight.

Events: Community Tree Planting + Pruning Party

This Spring, we're excited to host a community tree planting and willow house pruning party. It's more than just planting; it's about creating a legacy for the future and having fun at the same time.

We'll also be using biochar compost to ensure these new trees thrive. Plus, you can take a (free!) bag home for your own gardens.
