Goat Hike & Picnic
Goat Hike & Picnic
Join us for a truly unique and memorable experience on the farm—a leisurely “goat hike” through the meadows and back woods of the beautiful northern Willamette Valley. Led by our trusty pack goat, Hans, this gentle ramble covers just under a mile and offers plenty of time to explore, learn, and connect with nature.
At the midpoint, we’ll settle under a grand oak tree for a hearty farm-style picnic featuring a selection of our wonderful goat cheeses, seasonal fruit, and sourdough pretzels. For dessert, enjoy a “Farmer Affogato”: rich goat milk gelato with a pour-over of hot coffee served in a rustic camp mug.
Along the way, we’ll share stories about our pasture practices, goat care, and the vibrant ecosystem that surrounds us. You’ll have plenty of time for one-on-one interaction with our goats and guides—and we’re happy to tailor the educational content to your interests, whether that’s farming, local ecology, or both.
